He developed many techniques for nose surgery, which is one of his favourite surgery.

He loves nose – rhinoplasty because it is the surgery that requires an artistic approach. He loves to observe the proportions of the patient’s face, which he minutely and accurately studies, whether in the patient’s photos or in person during consultations. He also observes and matches the personality to create the right and unique nose for that person.

He draws the patient’s portrait to modify the nose with the same hand he will modify the nose in the operating theatre. According to Mr Ferrando, this is a very important part of the preparation for the surgery. His drawing will be identical to the result one expects from rhinoplasty surgery.

The result then will be beautiful, above all natural and patient will note that the result is exactly what Mr Ferrando drew in his sketchbook. Patients are always happy because Mr Ferrando’s noses are unique, beautiful and proportioned on the face of each patient. The result is that the patient looks as if she/he was born with that beautiful new nose.

Mr Ferrando has acquired surgical skills at some of the finest medical centres in London, Rome, Genoa, Paris, Milan and Barbados.

He has written many articles for “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” journal and is currently writing a book about Rhinoplasty. He is frequently being asked to speak on the topic of Plastic, Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Aesthetic Medicine at international conferences and meetings.
